How we are training:
On Saturday I was pretty tired and ran a solo 10k at Acton Ferry Terminal. But I also did some work on an exercise bike that day. Sunday Andrew and I jogged around at Stromlo; we are looking forward to being there to watch the World Cross Country trials on 8 February. Then on Monday at Parliament House Ewen and I ran 4k early, then Andrew, Andy, Ben, Colin, Ewen, I, Julia (new), Kym, Mick, Rae and Ruth got drenched but still managed to trot 3 x 1km in the rain and mud.
Future training:
I plan to resume racing but I am not sure if I will race Friday or Saturday this weekend; if Saturday (which is likely) I won't be at Acton on that day. But Sunday and Monday training are definitely on as usual.
More speedygeese news:
I was delighted to see that Leonie (centre) and Eliza (right) have received cycling sponsorship after being chosen as two of only three Roxcycle ambassadors, selected across NSW/ACT. These girls are most inspiring and great choices. See http://roxcycl.cc/blogs/news/16286641-eliza-middleton-becoming-a-roxcycl-ambassador
And congratulations Susan Sturgeon on the arrival of a new speedygosling, Mya, born a few weeks ago. Both doing well.
