Falling yesterday has set me back; I will put all my goals aside for now, except for the goal of running every day. Hurting after falling was a delayed reaction and I was sore last night; but the good news is that today I am feeling 66 and 2/3 percent better already.
So I ran parkrun at Ginninderra this morning, no warm-up, no cool-down, just seeing how far I could go or whether I would have to bail out. I was pleased therefore to complete the 5k in 31:47. I guess I have one goal after all, to beat that time next week.
"Starting again" sucks, but I am probably an expert at it.
Speaking of restarting, it was great to see Ewen back with us this week! Looking good, too.
