perfect

A few of us are meeting at Stromlo Forest Park this Sunday, you are welcome to join in if you wish. Arriving at 8:00am, before it gets too hot hopefully.

I train on Sundays at Stromlo occasionally and will spread the word when I know others will be there

By the way, each week there will always be long Saturday runs from Acton Ferry Terminal, also starting at 8:00am, this week is no exception, anyone can join in there too

The AMG Half Marathon: gold. Conditions were perfect, except for the rough surface, the steep little ups and downs which I negotiated very slowly, the twists and turns, wandering swans and cygnets, wandering ducks and ducklings, wandering mothers and strollers, wandering rowers and oars and eights, race walkers in training, narrow paths in places, the large rock I tripped over in the second kilometre which resulted in a very sore right knee for the rest of the race, and quads which were still fatigued from the cross country race, hence the trip and near fall. Otherwise, perfect! A lovely cool morning with a light breeze. It was great to win gold after 14 months of training specifically for this race.

The time of 1:37.51 was not indicative of my form going into the race.
The course was exactly four laps, splits were 23:37, 24:08, 24:54, 25:12.
I must say it was tough going.

The complete set

Much better than getting three of the same colour!

Michelle Wells has made it to NYC! Good luck in the marathon on Sunday, on your 40th birthday, may it be a happy one, race or birthday take your pick, or both!.

Last night's Clarke & Dawe, from http://youtu.be/rrZbXkaW2Xg. What's a cup of tea worth?
