Training at Parliament House: Nadine & I ran early then Nadine did a series of 100m run throughs while I jogged around supervising the main training session while trying to recover from Sunday's race. Running 4 or 5 x 600m with a 600m jog-back recovery, were Andrew, Andy, Cathy, Christopher, Colin, Craig, David, Mick, Neil, Ruth, Warrick & Yelena. It was a sunny day but once the sun set it started to get cold very quickly: no-one seemed to notice.
High Noon Meet: Andrew Simpson had a run on Sunday in the High Noon meet at the AIS Athletic Track: his time for 3000m was 10:41.23
After the hard racing on the weekend, longer intervals as we ran last night are an easier recovery session than shorter faster intervals would have been; but for those who are a bit sore and shell-shocked from racing on such steep hills, a long easy run is best.

Helen
At Blewitt's. Helen had a good run in the Bush Capital 16k the day before and was using the Blewitt's run as a recovery run.Ken & Gary
They are running the Blewitt's short course. Gary is back on track with his training and should be finding good form very soon. There's that hill we started down and finished up: 1k long and agony for me in both directions. After the hard racing on the weekend, longer intervals as we ran last night are an easier recovery session than shorter faster intervals would have been; but for those who are a bit sore and shell-shocked from racing on such steep hills, a long easy run is best.
