... hoping for a monster roll-up for the first Monday of daylight saving. Then I saw this and I realised it will be yet another public holiday. What?? Don't you employed people ever work????
Dear runners
The annual Sri Chinmoy Labour Day 10km & 4km Fun-Runs are coming up next Monday 6 October – starting as always from Acton Ferry Terminal.
Online entry for these fun-runs is open now.
The 10km starts at 9am, with the 4km run/walk commencing 5 minutes later. Race number collection and on-the-day entries open at Acton Ferry Terminal from 8 am.
Parking should not be a problem if you arrive early, as Floriade will not yet be in full swing. Be sure to stay after the race to enjoy a pancake breakfast to fuel you up for the day ahead!
We look forward to your company on Monday :-)
Well, go to the races if you must, but do come along and join in at training later in the day. We have missed many of you in the last few weeks. A long run at 4:30pm should get more starters than usual, it being a holiday, and interval training at 5:30pm is much more fun when a large number turn up, as we will organise teams. and it will not be dark, hurrah!

Marilyn running last Sunday's Vets Handicap, but deep in thought contemplating how much she'd rather it was Parliament House on a Monday afternoon.
