Porto Alegre, Brazil was the venue for the 2013 World Masters Athletic Championships. Caroline Campbell was there representing the speedygeese, well, representing Australia actually, in the W70 division. She competed in four distance races and did extremely well.

I am not sure if that 5k time is correct or should be 24:11.26, or something else. Nevertheless she received a bronze medal for it, but is now listed as 4th. Whichever, she was faster than I ran for my 5k split in today's 8k tempo run!
