Women's and Girls Fun Run - 500m mark

Thanks Ewen.

Training at Parliament House last night - Abi, Cathy, Ewen & I ran early - I checked out the course for the last 7.8k of the ultra - then for the main session Abi, Andy, Christopher, Colin, Craig, Mick, Neil, Ruth, Tony & Warrick ran figure 8 circuits on the western side, five on five minutes, each 700m circuit including two hills and four push-ups part way round.

For those running the marathon (or ultra, or half) on 15 April - have you noticed how rapidly the countdown timer is counting down? Scary.

Thursday Training - I am deferring this for two weeks. I am inviting people to check out any and all possible venues to see about lights, other users, surface, convenient location etc. This Thursday I will check out Cook, Jamison, Aranda, anywhere else I think of out that way. We will make an announcement in time for a 19 April start. This will allow you to get back to me after this Thursday and allow us to make a final decision the following week. We may end up having to book somewhere which means a small cost will be involved.

Song of the Week - "White Blank Page" by Mumford & Sons

Can you lie next to her
And give her your heart, your heart
As well as your body
And can you lie next to her
And confess your love, your love
As well as your folly
And can you kneel before the king
And say I'm clean, I'm clean

But tell me now, where was my fault
In loving you with my whole heart
Oh tell me now, where was my fault
In loving you with my whole heart

A white blank page and a swelling rage, rage
You did not think when you sent me to the brink, the brink
You desired my attention but denied my affections, my affections

Lead me to the truth and I will follow you with my whole life
Lead me to the truth and I will follow you with my whole life
