Zainab sets off in last Saturday's Parkrun
Running down the last hill
Zainab completes her third Ginninderra parkrun in a new PB.
Happy Birthday Zainab, 25 today!
What I am watching on television this week.
Monday: Inside Natures Giants: The Crocodile. 8:30pm SBS2. If all you ever dissected is a frog, you might be interested in seeing the way one goes about dissecting somewhat larger animals.
Tuesday: Origins Of Us: Guts. 8:30pm ABC1. I have been a fan of Alice Roberts for six series of "Coast", and she is just as enthralling in her own three part series.
Wednesday: Wild Life at the Zoo. Spicks & Specks's Alan Brough narrates daily events for the staff at Sydney Zoo. A series which looks remarkably like the Auckland "Zoo" program on another channel. But no less interesting.
Thursday: Hunting and Gathering. 9:30pm SBS2. Any film with Audrey Tautou is worth watching. If only to watch Audrey Tautou.
Friday: Town with Nicholas Crane: Totnes. 7:30pm SBS1. Last week's episode about Perth, Scotland, was sensational. What a good series.
Saturday: Shaun Micallef's MAD AS HELL. 7:30pm ABC2. Missed last week's repeat on Sunday as it was replaced by the Queen. I was mad as hell. Shaun Micallef is way funnier than any other comedian around.
Sunday: How To Grow a Planet. 7:30pm ABC1. I think I have never seen photography as good as this. Amazing on the big home theatre screen.
It is a rare week that there is something I feel worth watching every day.
