Pieta

Pieta and Nicole are competing today in the Wings For Life World Run in Melbourne. This event is being held simultaneously world wide, so the Melbourne time is rather late, a 9:00pm start. The race in Melbourne heads south-east around the bay and has no finish line. Instead, the runners are followed by a "catcher car", which takes off 30 minutes after the start at 15km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last runner has been caught. Last year’s global champion, Lemawork Ketema, was caught after more than 5 hours at a distance of 78 km.

Good luck ladies, run faster run further!
