Blogger help: How to write good posts

  • Always avoid alliteration.
  • Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.
  • Avoid cliches like the plague. They're old hat.
  • Employ the vernacular.
  • Eschew ampersands & abbreviations, etc.
  • Parenthetical remarks (however relevant) are unnecessary.
  • It is wrong to ever split an infinitive.

  1. You forgot! Be sparing with exclamation marks! If used to often, they start to look silly! Especially those pairs of double exclamation marks!! I hate them!!!

  2. Also, too often, writers use 'to' instead of 'too'. I've done this twice myself.
