Kathy and I approaching the end of lap one of the two lap cross country course on Monday. I am handing my glasses to Roger who was taking the photo. I couldn't see the rough terrain all that clearly for ~3.5k as my glasses kept fogging up, and I couldn't see the rough terrain all that clearly for ~4.5k as I wasn't wearing glasses.

Don't be fooled by the flat grassy look of the course from the photo. It was a crazy hard course. Some mud, narrow track, rocks, twists and turns, rough in places, and steep undulations. Cross Country is not my strength. I enjoyed the run nevertheless.

I loved the idea of EVERYONE having their surname on the racing number. It made us feel special.
