Yes, that 20:40 got my attention when I saw it in the diary. No taper is better? Or one where I maintain muscle tension as per this article?
ReplyDeleteInteresting article. No doubt that years ago when I was swimming, a weight session just before a swim would improve my performance considerably. Perhaps I am now at the stage where light gym work a few hours before a 5k race is the ideal preparation? Makes a certain amount of sense. Encourages me to maintain the current pattern. Except for last week's "taper".
