Good luck to everyone running in the ACTVAC Half Marathon tomorrow. I will be heading down the coast for a few days with Jenny to continue our 40th Wedding Anniversary celebrations.

Yesterday I ran Customs in 27:18, a world record slow time I think. This is because my hamstring is not better, yet. Usually it comes good after about six weeks, so it won't be long now. There wasn't going to be much point me staying here specially for the Half, was there?

  2. PS: There's not a lot of point me entering the Half tomorrow either but I have and I'm treating it as a training run for Melbourne in October. My hammie is still a pain but if I run slowly I can put up with it!! No problem doing that - lol! :)

  3. I ran 29:45 for the CCC's 5k "race" today; this snail is getting even slower. But I guess the second-last finisher was pleased I was behind him. If I run 30+ next time I am told I will forfeit my preferred start.

  4. I'm averaging 7.5 min/km at present, the slowest snail of all :-)

  5. We need more snails in CCC races. It's no fun being at the (wrong) pointy end of the field.
