  1. Geoff, how does the GM 3000 series work? Do I have to run the 6pm 3k?

I was thinking of trying a 1500/3000 (8.15pm) double. Is this advisable?

  2. I advise you to run that double Ewen, cos' that's what I'm going to do - then when we both run crappy in the 3000 we can blame it on the 1500 and sit quietly in the corner at Zeffirelli's and compare notes as to why we don't do that double next time it comes up!!

    What do you reckon Geoff?

The GM Series 3000 sounds like a motorbike!

Katie, you are going to be busy.
    100m, 1500m, 400m, 4x200m Relay (I heard you had a great relay run last week)and the 3000m.
You are gunna need a motorbike after that effort !

  4. I have been told that all 3000s are included in this series; those at the end of the program as well as well as those at the beginning.

When I have clarified the rules I will write them down somewhere.

The competition sub-committee changed what was originally envisaged, which is why I am not exactly sure how it is supposed to work.

  5. You did well Katie - 5.40-odd is not bad for a first 1500. I liked your sprint in the last 60 metres.

  6. ... so fast I didn't see it.

  7. Thanks Ewen (not sure where that sprint came from but it sure felt good), the best part of the night was where I missed the 3km start cos' I was busy talking, what a surprise!!

Geoff, you have to be quick to see your team running fast - if you blink (or leave the stadium) you'll miss it..............

  8. btw - what's with the tricky little codes at the end, have you upped your security to keep the naughty bloggers (like Ewen) out?

  9. Word Verification means those nasty people who generate automatic spam comments can no longer do so. It only started happening recently and I had to go in and delete the comments, which annoyed me enough to turn on the word verification option. I suppose the antisocial #$%&*@'s will find other ways of annoying us, but meanwhile I can breathe easier again.

  10. I must remember to be busy talking whenever a 400, 800 or 1500 metre race is due to start.

Katie, I'm just a cheeky blogger, not a naughty one.
